Course overview

This level 3 Foundation Programme in Engineering, delivered in partnership with the International Foundation Group (IFG), is designed for students aiming to progress to engineering degrees in English-speaking countries. Successful completion may provide progression opportunities to universities in the UK and Australia, subject to meeting entry requirements. The programme builds academic, language and research skills through key subjects: Physics, focusing on practical applications and experimental analysis; further Mathematics and Mechanics, essential for all engineering fields; Computer Science, covering AI, programming, databases and cybersecurity with real-world applications; and Chemistry, introducing atomic structure, bonding and chemical equations. Students also complete a research project, preparing them for academic and professional success in engineering.
