GENERAL ENGLISH PLUS B2 LEVEL

 General English Plus B2 Level: This course is for all students who want to achieve fluency and accuracy in everyday English. Develop the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - by learning and practising language in real-life situations, with a focus on oral skills. 

The classroom to run this course have 20 siting capacity at time. So, our motto is to ensure that every student receives personal attention from their teacher. 

  

Minimum Level: CEFR B2 (Upper-Intermediate)

Start Dates: As per schedule 

Course Length: 25 weeks to 32 weeks

Maximum Class Size: 20 students

Ages: Ages: Typically, 18+ years old.  Students ages 16-17 are allowed upon parental permission.


The expected learning outcomes after completing this course are: 

  • Communicate fluently in professional and academic settings.
  • Write clear and structured texts with appropriate tone.
  • Confidently express ideas in discussions and presentations.
  • Perform well in standardized exams such as IELTS, achieving a band score of 6.0-7.5.


Assessment Methods:

- Weekly Assessment – Quiz (40%)

- Midterm assessment - Week 12 or Week 16 (20%) 

- Project Work on research - (10%)

- Mock Tests and Final Exams (30%) - Scoring aligned with CEFR B2 descriptors

GENERAL ENGLISH: SELT EXAM A1, A2 AND B1

This course syllabus has been structured aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The objective of this course is to support learners at various levels, focusing on the key language skills, domains, and competencies relevant to your current ability and learning goals. 

The classroom to run this course have 20 siting capacity at time. So, our motto is to ensure that every student receives personal attention from their teacher. 

  

Minimum Level: CEFR A1. A2 and B1

Start Dates: Every Monday

Course Length: 1 week up to 1 year 

Maximum Class Size: 20 students

Ages: Typically, 18+ years old.  Students ages 16-17 are allowed upon parental permission.


The expected learning outcomes after completing this course are: 

  • Improved speaking, listening,  reading, and writing skills
  • Developed dictionary skills. 
  • Analysing word forms and word families
  • More confidence with the English language

Who can be benefited from this course?

This course is mainly for the individuals who wants to extend visa or applying for further leave to remain, as well as those applying for indefinite leave to remain, skilled worker, or health and care worker visas. To meet the language requirements set by the UK government, applicants must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) at least at CEFR level A2 in Speaking and Listening. This ensures that individuals have the necessary language skills to communicate effectively in everyday situations, understand basic instructions, and engage in simple conversations.

English for International StudENT

With the objective to help learners gain fluency and confidence in English for academic and professional success, we have designed course for the international students to minimize the language barrier. 


This program is to

- Genes, Cells & Development: biomedical phenomena and cellular life and health. 

- Atoms, Molecules & Reactions: fundamentals of physical chemistry 

- Measurements in Life Sciences; biology and health are described by physical approaches

- Medicine, Disease & Societythe social and historical context of health and healthcare. 

- Tissues, Systems & Regulation system-level phenomena in life sciences, with a focus on mammals. 

- Periodic & Organic Chemistry emphasis on principles 

- Investigations in Biomedicine This module prepares you to pursue and present your own work at a level appropriate to higher education. By having the opportunity to carry out your own research project, you will get hands-on experience practising the research skills required at an undergraduate level. Together with your supervisor, you will select a topic of interest, generate your own findings, and present the results in formats adapted to different audiences.
